Imaging Team Lead - Ultrasound

About the Job Offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for a limited time! MedStar Health is looking for an Imaging Team Lead - Ultrasound to join our team at MedStar Franklin Square Hospital Center. This position is full-time, varied hours, 4 -9hr shifts. This position will assist in the supervision and direction of the daily activities for the Imaging Department. Performs diagnostic procedures within assigned/credentialed modality. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations. * Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation. * Coordinates the daily activities of staff consistent with workload requirements and available personnel. * Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains diagnostic and other equipment in efficient operating order; performs regularly scheduled quality control. * Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Minimal Qualifications Education * High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent required Experience * 1-2 years technologist experience within assigned/credentialed modality. Licenses and Certifications * ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) required Knowledge Skills and Abilities * Demonstrated leadership skills. * Verbal and written communication skills. * Basic computer skills preferred.
