RESPONSIBILITIESSupports and collaborates with the Project Manager on all aspects of projectResponsible for job set-up, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, QC, project closeout and environmental and stormwater programsManages project demobilization and closeoutAssist in GH Phipps' risk management programAssists in final approval of subcontract agreementsResponsible for developing and managing project scheduleReviews project equipment selection through GH Phipps' Equipment YardCompetent in construction processes and knowledge of building codesEffectively leads and enforces project specific requirementsResponsible for material delivery schedulesSupports team member developmentMaintains regular communication with team members and actively engages with General Superintendent in team support and problem-solvingResponsible for the completion of daily logsResponsible for completion of the job start-up checklistEnforces the details of the trade partner agreements and Attachments A, B and CResponsible for weekly planners and short interval schedulesLeads preconstruction meetings with trade partnersLeads weekly trade partners' Foreman meetingsResponsible for site, building and interior layout controlResponsible for adherence to shop drawings and project documentsResponsible for managing third party testing and resolution of non-conformanceResponsible for Architect/Consultant's observation reports and resolution of non-conformanceVerifies that JHAs are utilized on the jobsiteVerifies material delivery/procurementResponsible for GH Phipps' SDS programResponsible for as-built/record drawings and specificationsProvides constructability reviews for each set of progress drawingsReviews and understands soils reportsAttends pre-award meetings with all major scopes of workDevelops the site logistics planUnderstands details of owner contractsManages permits and inspections for AHJsDirects GH Phipps' Quality Assurance ProgramIs responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programsEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field experienceEXPERIENCE Minimum seven + years of commercial construction experience requiredMinimum 5 years healthcare construction experience in occupied (and/or ground up) hospitals requiredDemonstrated experience with ICRA, ILSM and MOPSKILLSProficient in construction project management software, PROCORE preferredProficient in document markup, Bluebeam preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Knowledge and use of Scheduling software, ASTA preferredCERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSUREOSHA 30 Certification is requiredCPR/First Aid CertifiedAdvanced Stormwater Management Supervisor CertificateScaffolding Competent PersonProperly trained in Fall Protection, Excavation, Precast & Steel Erection, Confined spaceASHEEMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTSVerifiable work references demonstrating exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and communication skills Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screensAll positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive.
