Oversee general management functions, including hiring, disciplining, and evaluating employees. Interview and hire nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage based on facility needs. Plan and facilitate meetings to address resident care and nursing department issues. Review and approve time sheets for payroll accuracy. Develop and manage clinical systems to ensure staff competencies and the highest quality of care. Candidate requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred Minimum of three years as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or equivalent supervisory nursing role. Proven ability to lead and motivate a workforce. Strong knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, state and federal regulations, and nursing standards of care. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to react decisively in emergencies and maintain confidentiality.
