Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Assist electrophysiologists with complex procedures such as electrophysiology studies (EPS), cardiac ablations, and implantations of devices like pacemakers and defibrillators. Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment for electrophysiology procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality. Monitor and record patient vital signs and electrical activity of the heart during procedures. Utilize advanced imaging systems and electroanatomic mapping tools to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Educate patients and families on pre-and post-procedure care, providing clear and compassionate guidance. Candidate requirements Completion of education necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements. Oregon Radiographer License, obtained upon hire. BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, obtained upon hire. At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume arrhythmia service setting. Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification within 2 years of hire.
