Job Type Full-timeDescriptionUp to 40 hours per weekJoin Our Growing Ophthalmology Team as an Ophthalmic Technician!Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and eager to grow in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!Your Impact:Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.What You'll Bring/Requirements:A passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.Knowledge of medical office procedures.Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.High School Diploma or equivalent.Bonus Points:Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.Key Skills:Reliability and a strong work ethic.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.Proficiency in data entry and typing.Outstanding customer service skills.We Care: We prioritize patients, colleagues, and families with compassionate, leading care and treat all with dignity and respect.We Collaborate: We work together with patients, seeking diverse input to share and grow innovative ideas.We Elevate: Committed to excellence, we exceed expectations by delivering leading eye care research, innovation, education, and outreach.Refocus is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity.#CL1
