Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist Certified Radiologic Technologist credential from an approved school of Radiologic Technology Required certification by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist Active California State Mammography Licensure Certification in ARRT, BLS, and CRT strongly preferred Location and Schedule: Based in San Mateo, CA, with floating responsibilities at the Carol Ann Read Breast Center in Oakland Mammography Mobile Van transport provided, serving multiple Bay Area locations; pick-up and drop-off at 3100 Summit Street, Oakland Primary shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5 days x 8 hours) Rotating weekend schedule includes Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with Mondays off; every other weekend plus one Saturday per month Day shifts primarily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic mammography exams with precision and adherence to safety protocols Operate imaging equipment, including mobile mammography units Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory standards About San Mateo, CA: Located midway between San Francisco and Silicon Valley, San Mateo offers a vibrant, diverse community with easy access to urban amenities and scenic outdoor spaces.
