An opportunity is available for a skilled Radiologic Technologist experienced in mobile X-ray imaging to provide essential diagnostic services across various healthcare settings. This contract position requires proficiency in performing and processing X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, ensuring high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. The role also involves performing EKGs as needed and maintaining thorough communication with dispatch, management, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Perform and process portable X-rays, delivering diagnostically sound images. Set up and transport radiography equipment to multiple healthcare facilities. Conduct EKG exams when required and transmit results for cardiologist review. Manage documentation tasks, including scanning exam-related paperwork and billing. Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment in excellent working condition. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid radiologic technologist licensure as required by the state. Proven experience with portable digital or computed radiography systems. Ability to safely handle and transport imaging equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Strong communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work independently while managing varied patient populations.
