Full Job DescriptionCertified Sterile & Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist Area: Cypress, TX Schedule: Mon - Fri: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pay: $60 - $65+ DOE (Starting at $55.00*) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Certified Compounding Pharmacist. Unlike traditional retail roles, this position requires a "maker" mindset. You will be directly responsible for the formulation and preparation of high-end sterile and non-sterile compounds, with a heavy focus on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) , Advanced Dermatology , and Weight Management protocols. Job Specifics and Requirements: Licensure: Must have an open, active, and in-good-standing Texas Pharmacist License .Education: Pharm.D.Experience: 5 years+ of dedicated compounding experience.Technical Skillset: Proven hands-on experience with HRT (oils/creams) and complex Dermatology formulations (multi-ingredient light-sensitive compounds).Compliance: Deep functional knowledge of USP , , and standards. Revised Job Responsibilities: Direct Production: Physically prepare and oversee the compounding of sterile injectables and non-sterile preparations (HRT creams, troches, and dermatological ointments).HRT Specialization: Utilize hands-on experience to compound bio-identical hormones using specialized bases (e.g., Lipoderm, VersaBase) and oil-based vehicles (MCT).Dermatology Expertise: Formulate complex aesthetic compounds including "Triple-Bleach" creams, BLT numbing ointments, and customized skincare solutions.Aseptic Technique: Maintain mastery of aseptic technique for all sterile preparations, ensuring zero-contaminant environments during filtration and vial filling.Formulation Development: Collaborate with the team to refine and develop customized medication formulations based on specific provider needs.Quality Assurance: Perform and document rigorous quality control checks on every compounded preparation, including pH testing, visual inspection, and weight verification.USP Compliance: Ensure the lab operates in strict accordance with USP , , and for both patient safety and regulatory audit readiness.Equipment Mastery: Operate and maintain advanced lab equipment including magnetic stirrers, pH meters, electronic mortars and pestles (EMP), and sterile filtration systems.Inventory & Documentation: Manage the precision weighing of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and maintain flawless Master Formulation Records (MFR).Clinical Consultation: Provide expert clinical consultation to healthcare providers regarding formulation stability, solubility, and therapeutic compatibility.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hourBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offRelocation assistanceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: In person
