Job Type Part-timeDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Extended Care Teacher to join our team. As an Extended Care Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will work with infants and with children aged 3-5 years old, providing them with a range of activities that promote their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Requirements- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in our care- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children- Foster positive relationships with children and their families- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the program- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as requiredRequirements:-High School Diploma or equivalent- CDA in Early Childhood Education or related field- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices- Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff- Strong organizational and time management skills- Current CPR and First Aid certificationIf you are passionate about working with young children and are committed to providing them with a safe and nurturing environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Salary Description $16.35 to $18.50 based experience
