We welcome International Medical Graduates seeking waiver sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARY:The purpose of this position is to provide high quality patient care and ensure effective clinic operations. Patient care includes providing comprehensive medical services for patients between the ages of 0-21, within scope of training. Services include but are not limited to: preventive care, immunizations, primary care and treatment, health education, prescribing of medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing, physical examinations, STD screenings, vision/hearing, family planning, prenatal services, nutrition. Provider may be used in a variety of locations depending upon the need of the organization. Clinic shifts include 1 evening a week and 1-2 Saturdays/month. This position may also include supervising physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners and providing training to resident physicians or other health provider interns/externs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide continuous, comprehensive primary care for infants, children, youth ages 0-21 according to current standards of care.Take patient histories and document appropriately in the patient medical recordExamines patients for symptoms or physical informationShows good insight and judgment with relation to patient carePerform or request diagnostic tests appropriatelyAnalyzes reports and findings of tests and examination to diagnose condition of patient.Make diagnoses and prescribe medication/treatments as necessary.Administer vaccinations, if neededEducate patients in disease prevention and health maintenance. Prepare all medical records, clinical reports and correspondences. Support quality initiatives.Work in collaboration with management team and providers. Complete all Core Curriculum training(s) required for the position.
