This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our Pediatric Dermatology practice, in close partnership with Children's Health, one of the leading pediatric healthcare systems in the country.The successful candidate will provide exceptional clinical care, contribute to the education and mentorship of residents and medical students, and have the opportunity to engage in meaningful research. This position will support the continued growth and development of our pediatric dermatology services, advancing both patient care and academic initiatives.Job Duties: Establish a clinical practice in Pediatric Dermatology. Attend on the inpatient consulting service. Assist in the supervision and training of residents and medical students. Engage in other academic pursuits that may include medical writing, lectures, and clinical research.Candidates should hold an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and should be board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology.This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information. To the extent this position requires the holder to research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the critical infrastructure is a minimum qualification to be hired and to continue to be employed in the position.Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishment and experience.
