Job Title: Senior Solution Architect - Healthcare Payer (C2C) Location: Remote (EST or CST Candidates Only) Job Type: Contract (C2C) Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card Holder Only Industry: Healthcare - Payer Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect with strong healthcare payer domain expertise and a solid software development background. This role requires a highly technical architect who can align enterprise technology strategy with business initiatives, lead architectural design, and drive scalable solutions across complex healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in healthcare payer systems, enterprise architecture, and modern software engineering practices while demonstrating stability and consistency in recent roles. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Strategy Define and communicate enterprise architecture vision across multiple projects and teams Design and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions Align technology strategy with business objectives and healthcare initiatives Lead proof-of-concept (POC) development and technical solution evaluations Create best practices, standards, and architectural documentation Maintain architectural runway and prioritize technical enablers Technical Leadership & Delivery Provide architectural guidance across development, cloud, integrations, security, and DevOps Mentor engineers, developers, and architects across teams Lead continuous delivery and DevOps-aligned architecture practices Evaluate and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of applications Identify and resolve technical debt, high-risk areas, and performance bottlenecks Define non-functional requirements and technical specifications Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Act as liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and partners Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) Provide strategic recommendations for enterprise application scaling Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies Support solution delivery across customers and internal teams Required Qualifications US Citizen or Green Card Holder (No third-party involvement) 10+ years of software engineering and/or solution architecture experience Strong background in software development (Java, .NET, C#, or similar) Proven experience in healthcare payer domain (mandatory) Minimum 3+ years consistency in recent roles/projects (no job hoppers) Deep expertise across at least two domains: Cloud, APIs, Security, DevOps, UI, Integrations, Mobile, etc. Strong experience with enterprise application architecture and microservices Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and SAFe methodologies Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to lead and mentor technical teams Technical Skills Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure) Microservices & API Architecture DevOps & CI/CD Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Performance Optimization & Scalability Integration Architecture Security & Compliance Software Development (/C#) Mandatory Domain Requirement Strong and consistent Healthcare Payer experience required Candidates must have worked with payer organizations such as health plans or insurance providers Provider/hospital-only experience will not be considered Candidate Profile Requirements Must be located in EST or CST time zones Strong job stability and long-term project consistency required Hands-on technical architect with software engineering foundation Collaborative, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills Healthcare domain experience must be consistent across career Nice to Have Healthcare certifications (FHIR, HL7, etc.) Cloud architect certifications (AWS/Azure) Experience with large enterprise healthcare transformations #SolutionArchitect #HealthcareIT #HealthcarePayer #HiringNow #TechJobs #USJobs #ArchitectJobs #CloudArchitecture #EnterpriseArchitecture #Microservices #DevOps #AWSJobs #AzureJobs #JavaJobs #DotNetJobs #TechHiring #C2CRole #USCitizenJobs #GreenCardJobs #RemoteJobs
