A Clinical Pharmacist role is available in Fishers, IN, offering a temp-to-hire opportunity over a 13-week period. This position involves working in a closed-door mail order environment, primarily during daytime hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional Saturdays based on operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with prescription orders. Provide medication counseling and education to patients, focusing on proper use, potential side effects, and drug interactions. Review and interpret physician orders to ensure therapeutic appropriateness. Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, and duplications. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and encourage adherence to medication regimens. Maintain detailed patient records, including medication histories and interventions. Comply with all applicable pharmacy laws and regulations, ensuring proper medication storage and handling. Participate in pharmacy quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with inventory management including ordering and stocking pharmaceutical supplies. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Stay updated on pharmacy practice developments and engage in professional development activities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: PharmD degree required. Valid Indiana Pharmacy License. California pharmacy license preferred; applicants without a CA license must be willing to reciprocate, with assistance provided for licensing costs. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Potential Saturdays as needed.
