Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3 years of experience and ARRT certification for an evening shift role at a Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Chicago, IL.Job Details• Work in the CT department of a 397-bed Level 1 Trauma Center, Level III Perinatal Center, Magnet-designated, comprehensive stroke center, and teaching hospital in Chicago, IL,• CT department has 3 beds serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations,• Patient ratio is 1:1,• Patient cases include trauma, stroke, and high-acuity/fast-paced scenarios,• Average of approximately 15 scans per day,• Uses GE CT equipment, Epic EMR, Alaris, and Pyxis,• Image processing handled by a third-party vendor,• 8-hour evening (2nd) shifts, 40 hours per week,• Every other weekend rotation required,• No on-call or call-back requirements,• No floating requirements,Job Requirements• Minimum of 3 years of CT experience, with most recent experience within the last year,• Active ARRT certification and BLS required,• IV skills and power injection experience required,• Proficiency with GE CT equipment required,• Epic EMR experience required,• Comfortable working in a trauma, stroke, and fast-paced environment,• State license required if applicable,• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration,• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN,Additional Information• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis,• On-site support includes a receptionist during day shift, with a hospitalist/physician available after hours,• Transport aides and tech aides are both available on unit,• A radiology resident is on-site,• Weekend night shift is staffed with 1 tech and a tech aide on Fridays, and 2 techs and a tech aide on Saturdays and Sundays,• Orientation consists of 1 day on the unit,• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved during the contract,• Holiday coverage required if mutually agreeable,• Gray scrubs required,• Parking is available near the facility and the CTA Brown Line is also nearby for public transportation
