American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level I Trauma, academic teaching hospital, working 10-hour day shifts Thursday through Sunday with on-call responsibilities.Job Details• Large academic Level I Trauma Center with Chest Pain and Stroke Center designations,• Interventional Radiology department averaging 25-30 patients per day,• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses,• Equipment includes 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, and 1 Canon bi-plane systems,• EMR: Epic,• 10-hour day shifts, Thursday through Sunday,• On-call required with a fair rotation shared among full-time, part-time, PRN, and travel staff,• No floating required,• Holiday coverage is expected unless time off is approved in advance,Job Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or vascular imaging,• Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required,• Active license required if applicable,• Proficiency with Epic EMR,• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with adult and pediatric populations,• At least 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN,• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,• Former permanent employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered,• RTO requires manager approval,• Orientation includes a facility and departmental tour with introductions, plus 5 days of departmental orientation (flexible based on traveler needs),• Department is supported by a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager, with a diverse team ranging from new grads to long-tenured staff,• Scrub color: Black,• Free parking available on-site across several parking decks
