Get to Know Your Team: * The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support. Responsibilities * Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures. * Monitor and record hemodynamics and assist the physician by scrubbing procedures. * Assure proper functioning and troubleshooting of equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology to assist the physicians. * Participate in professional development for the advancement of Cardiology Services. Qualifications Job Requirements: * Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist regsitered by the ARRT. * Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist. * BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: * One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
