The School of Health Sciences is seeking a knowledgeable and committed part-time faculty member to join the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program to teach Cross-Sectional Anatomy. The successful candidate will will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality classroom instruction in both lecture and/or laboratory settings, in alignment with the approved course curriculum. The instructor will select and utilize a variety of approved course materials and teaching methods to ensure that the needs of individual students in the program are met. Primary Job Duties * Assess student learning using appropriate methods. * Actively engage students in classroom discussions and/or activities. * Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom. * Conduct an engaging classroom lecture and/or lab based on the course curriculum. * Complete all course assessments as required. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography * Three years of experience in an educational institution * Three years of experience scanning in a clinical setting. * RDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/Gyn Preferred Qualifications * Experience teaching Cross-Sectional Anatomy. * Experience educating and supervising students in a clinical setting.
