Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - CVORT

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with advanced cardiovascular operating room experience for a night shift CVOR position requiring 5+ years of CST experience.Job Details• Work in a hospital CVOR unit focusing on cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures,• Night shifts consisting of 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00 with weekend call required,• Patient population includes those undergoing CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and other major vascular and thoracic surgeries,• Requires flexibility with schedule and call coverage,• Uses Epic as the primary EMR system,Job Requirements• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 5 years of overall experience,• At least 2 years of cardiac and vascular operating experience,• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience,• At least 1 year of experience at a Level I Trauma facility,• Scrub experience required with proficiency in cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing,• BLS certification required,• Proficient with aseptic technique, handling crash cart, and equipment documentation,• Experience with Epic charting system required,• License required if applicable,Additional Information• Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and assisting with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures,• Responsible for maintaining aseptic technique and reprocessing specialized cardiovascular instruments,• Role requires flexibility and ability to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted,• Team-oriented environment with experienced surgical and nursing staff,• Facility is a Level I Trauma center
