Assistant Director Of Nursing: Responsibilities Oversee the delivery of clinical services, ensuring the highest quality of patient/client care in accordance with home health laws, policies and proceduresCoordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs to ensure client and patient goals are metProvide daily supervision of all intake and scheduling teams to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards.Review and investigate the clinical content, diagnoses, medical history, medications, fee status, and other procedures from the records of clients and their physicians.Fill out the client's re-hospitalization referral/admission form sheet daily and submit it to the intake department with a recertification date.Manage and coordinate client discharge.Assist with the orientation of new professional staff to familiarize them with agency policies and proceduresSee clients in the home setting if needed.Perform other duties as directed by the DON or President/CEO of the organization.Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations. Assistant Director Of Nursing: Qualifications Proven experience as Assistant director/Case Management/QA or supervising position.Proficient in use of EMR systems, preferably WellSky/Kinsser and Microsoft Office Suite productsIn-depth knowledge of nursing best practices/procedures and KPI/KQIs of patient care.Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in health care and home health.Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing administration.Understanding of basic budgeting and financial reporting.Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.Great communication and people skills.Outstanding organizational, time, and stress management skills.Aptitude in problem-solving.Valid nursing and CPR certification.
