Job Description A Level II Trauma hospital in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician to provide ICU coverage across Boise and Nampa locations. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a strong ICU team while earning competitive locum rates. Position: Physician - Critical Care Location: Boise & Nampa, Idaho Practice Setting: Inpatient ICU | Level II Trauma CenterWhat makes this opportunity exciting• Inpatient ICU rounding and admissions with occasional pulmonary consults• Adult patient population in a Level II Trauma center• Average 25 patients on ICU list with about 5 admissions per night• Work alongside experienced APP support staff in the ICU• Opportunity to occasionally supervise Family Medicine residents• Collaborative hospital environment with strong clinical support• Epic EMR system for streamlined documentation Coverage Dates• June 15 - 21: Nampa ICU Nights (7PM - 7AM)• July 6 - 12: Boise ICU Nights (7PM - 7AM)• July 13 - 19: Boise ICU Nights (7PM - 7AM)• July 20 - 26: Nampa ICU Nights (7PM - 7AM)• July 27 - Aug 2: Nampa ICU Days (7AM - 7PM)• Aug 3 - 9: Boise ICU Days (7AM - 7PM)• Aug 10 - 16: Nampa ICU Nights (7PM - 7AM)• Aug 17 - 23: Nampa ICU Nights (7PM - 7AM)• Aug 24 - 30: Boise ICU Coverage EMR: Epic Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 daysCandidate Requirements• Board Certified in Critical Care - REQUIRED• Critical Care Fellowship - REQUIRED• ACLS, DEA, and CSR - REQUIRED• Active Idaho License or IMLC - REQUIRED• Comfortable performing ICU procedures• NPDB report required at submission (within last 30 days)• COVID-19 vaccination required Why Boise, Idaho?Boise offers a perfect mix of outdoor adventure, scenic mountains, and a growing city atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for physicians who enjoy both professional opportunity and an active lifestyle.
