Skills in ED trauma and stroke imaging. Description: General information about the unit includes 800 beds. Staffing varies by shift, day, or week. Day shifts typically have 5 staff technologists and a supervisor. Evening shifts have 4-5 technologists and a radiology assistant. Night shifts have 2-3 technologists and a radiology assistant. The unit utilizes equipment such as GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors. The EMR system used is Cerner along with Rad Net and Phillips PACS. Typical procedures performed include neuro imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, body imaging, and invasive cardiac imaging. Pediatric imaging is also performed. The ideal candidate is a team player who can also work independently. A self-motivated individual is preferred. Candidates with GE experience, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture skills will be prioritized. Dress code requires black scrubs. Possible weekend shifts may be required. There may be rotations to different shifts. Potential for call of 12 hours per month exists. Position is a contractor replacement.
