Position Details:Full-TimeLocation: Culver CityHours: availability to work school hours (8:00 - 4:00) with flexibility to support crisis situations that may require extended supervision beyond the school day as neededGrade Levels: K-12Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to be certified and apply Hands-on Management techniques according to Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) guidelines and/or follow the client who is experiencing significant behavioral problems or has become Absent Without Leave (AWOL) from the facility. Protect, care for and ensure the safety of all students at all times.Supervise activities of students as needed in classrooms, on school campus. Provide crisis intervention for students while at school site.Assist students to resolve problems; identify ongoing services necessary to help students to resolve problems.Develop and implement behavior management strategies for students, including setting and enforcing limits for behavior. Assist students in developing social, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.Utilize approved techniques for management of assault behavior. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs.
