The research within the institute focuses on tackling liver diseases with new ways to prevent, reverse and cure them. Our team of highly specialized physician-scientists conducts cutting-edge investigations through benchmark research and clinical trials across a broad spectrum of diseases and conditions related to liver. The Institute engages in multiple partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions to accelerate translational research. You will work alongside luminaries and key opinion leaders in the fields of liver and metabolic health to accelerate and translate discoveries into clinical practice.This postdoctoral position will work on the development a multi-omic Liver Atlas. This is a data platform for understanding how liver diseases develop and progress and how they impact the health of other organs in human body. The Liver Atlas will unify diverse multi-omic datasets generated from primary human tissue-including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, genomics, metabolomics, and proteomics-to provide a comprehensive, systems-level view of liver biology in health and disease. Postdoctoral employment is normally limited to an individual who has been awarded a doctoral degree within the previous five years. This is a 12-month appointment with the possibility of renewal (for an additional 1-2 years in one-year increments) contingent upon satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Salary is based on NRSA scale for postdoctoral stipends - NOT-OD-25-105. This position will remain open until filled.
