Lab Technician

Lab Technician Responsibilities + Perform laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids. + Conduct laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards. + Determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition. + Set up, readjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments. + Comply with test methods according to set standards. + Document all formulation processes. + Function with sustained supervision and write simple reports outlining procedures used and results obtained. + Complete proper forms and documents when necessary. + Attend quality, safety, technical meetings, and seminars as necessary. + Comply with all safety and security regulations and maintain a clean work area. + Communicate with internal as well as external customers. + Manage work in accordance with timeline goals. + Adhere to company safety and quality standards at all times. + Perform chemistry-based testing. Essential Skills + Proficiency in viscosity, pH, wet chemistry, chemistry, laboratory, and paint testing. + Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or a science degree with paint lab experience preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grove City, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
