Lab Technician

Work as a team with a variety of rework technicians, engineers, and project managers in a prototype environment. Proto Services tracking and administration. Prototype bring up (includes firmware/IOS upgrade, diagnostic verification tests, debug), device programming, and allocation. Visual check of prototypes for mechanical and electrical problems. Assembly, installation and troubleshooting of systems. Ship prototypes to cross functional teams and clients by packaging and obtaining required information such as cost and product detail to ensure no shipping delay. Test out firmware for software and help with setting up some switches/routers/ check connectivity. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. Fundamental knowledge of electronic principles, circuit testing, use of multimeter, safely handling sensitive and very expensive printed circuit boards, and familiar with electronic components on a printed circuit board and able to locate specific components
