In fact, over 30% of our candidates have converted to full-time positions at our client. Job Summary We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our client's team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily general X-ray exams, including routine and mobile imaging. You will support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care by producing diagnostic-quality radiographic images while adhering to radiation safety standards and best practices. Job Description Operate and maintain radiographic/X-ray equipment, including mobile imaging units. Prepare imaging rooms and equipment; ensure all necessary supplies are available and ready. Position patients accurately and compassionately; adjust exposure factors (kVp, mA, time) for optimal image quality. Perform imaging studies and evaluate images for diagnostic adequacy; repeat studies as needed. Adhere to radiation protection protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and self. Document procedures, patient information, and images accurately in the Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS, and EMR. Conduct routine quality control checks and coordinate minor maintenance or supply replenishment as needed. Collaborate effectively with radiologists, fellow technologists, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient department operations. Skills Required At least one (1) year of experience as General Radiographer Experience in an Acute setting required Education/Training/Certifications Completion of an appropriate training program for Radiologic Technologist Current certification and registration as a Radiology Tech issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH Additional Requirements Shift Time: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM, alternating weekends required - Weekends/Holidays required Training will be for 2 weeks, from 9a-5p, including the EPIC class Pay Rate $53-$62 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors HirePower Personnel, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
