Jovie is seeking engaging, reliable and enthusiastic kid-care pros to work with families in Edina, Minneapolis, Bloomington, Wayzata, Chanhassen, Maple Grove and Plymouth areasEngaging | Creative | Fun | Flexible Jovie is looking for experienced caregivers to help provide care to our local families on the evenings and weekends. Care would possibly include making and providing meals, engaging in activities such as arts and crafts, board/card games, baking, outdoor play, bedtime routine, and staying with the children until the parents arrive home. Feel free to reach out with questions, and we can chat!What We Look For:You like to engage with kids and have a playful personalityYou have relatable childcare experience (special needs experience a plus)You're able to provide 3 childcare references (from paid or unpaid positions)You have a reliable vehicle and driver's licenseYou're already CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to beYou're available up to 5 days Monday-Friday, 7am-7pmWorking Conditions and Requirements:Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activitiesPart of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active playEssential Physical Requirements:Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushingMust be able to lift 35 pounds safelyMust be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the dayWill need to be able to react quickly to certain situationsMay need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe mannerCompensation + Benefits:Hourly wage: $18-$20Ready to work around your scheduleAbility to start with just a few days per week if needed due to other commitmentsPaid training + professional development (including CPR/First Aid certification).
