Sociotherapist - Manhattan, NY (Onsite) - Full Time - $26.00-$27.00 Per HR Title: Sociotherapist Location: Manhattan, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time Compensation: Pay Range: $26.00-$27.00 Per HR Description: • Seeking a dedicated professional in social work for a full-time role based in Manhattan, NY. • This onsite position involves working with foster care programs to support children and foster families. • Candidates should be prepared for flexible hours and possess strong communication skills. Requirements: • Provide behavior modification training and supportive counseling. • Attend treatment team conferences and family meetings. • Monitor family visits and assist with youth transportation. • Facilitate youth's attainment of permanency goals. • Conduct weekly home visits and maintain progress notes. • Provide crisis intervention services. • Participate in supervision, in-service training, and team meetings. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required; preferably in social work or related field. • Valid Driver's License. • Experience working effectively with teens or children with special needs. • Knowledge of the foster care/adoption field. • Excellent oral, writing, and organizational skills. • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure. • Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
