About the Practice A highly regarded and established anesthesia group in the Lexington, Kentucky area is seeking a dedicated, full-time General Anesthesiologist. Opportunity This is a premier full-time opening for an Anesthesiologist looking for a balanced and rewarding practice. The position offers a broad mix of cases with a predictable schedule and a favorable call rotation. Residents are welcome to apply and will find a supportive environment to transition into their attending careers. Case Mix: B&B cases, including OB, Vascular, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Regional Anesthesia, and Outpatient Surgery. Case Exclusions: There are no cardiac or trauma cases associated with this position. Call Schedule: Shared rotation of 1:4 , featuring a post-call day off to ensure excellent work-life balance. Responsibilities Provide high-quality anesthesia services for a diverse patient population and a wide range of surgical specialties. Manage obstetric anesthesia, including epidural placement and C-section coverage. Utilize regional anesthesia techniques for orthopedic and outpatient surgical cases. Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop comprehensive anesthetic plans. Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs or work in a solo-attending capacity as needed. Participate in the 1:4 call rotation and handle emergencies during call hours. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology. Current or eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Kentucky. Competency in basic pediatric, obstetric, and regional anesthesia. Residents and soon-to-be graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
