FTE: 0.6, Shift: Days, Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8 am - 8:30 pm Position Summary The Imaging Services Representative is an incredible opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for the receiving of patients, coordination and/or completion of the admission process. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients. Responsibilities * You will initiate and complete the admission/patient registration process, interpreting system regulations and policies and acting as a resource for patients and families * You will explain purpose and obtain signature for all documents requiring signatures * You will meet, greet, and interview patient, providing for isolation cautionary measures if needed, relative, or patient's representative to obtain pertinent information * You will assist technologists as needed or requested Requirements * Post high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred * BLS certification required * Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in a clerical position, medical setting preferred with medical insurance(s) * Medical Terminology certification preferred About Good Samaritan Hospital MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.41 - $32.58 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
