Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hourJob description:Georgia Families in Transition is looking for individuals to join our community-based mental health team!The Therapist position is focused on providing individual/family mental health counseling using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches of care for children, adolescents, and adults in the Clayton/Henry County area. GFIT strives toward a company culture based in collaboration, teamwork, honesty, and promotion of self-care and is looking for members of our mental health team who share this vision.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProviding individual/family mental health counseling using evidence based and trauma informed approaches of care.Providing individual/family mental health skill building servicesTimely documentation submissionCommitment to providing consistent, ongoing services to clients.Provide crisis intervention as necessary to enhance and restore functioning.Participate in coordination of care with a multi-disciplinary treatment teamMeet or exceed agency required productivity and documentation standardsTravel is required within Clayton/Henry counties, as well as to neighboring counties located within an hour or less, to conduct in-person client sessions.Other duties as assignedCore CompetenciesInterpersonal Skills & Communication: demonstrated emotional intelligence with an ability to balance an empathy forward response with families and throughout the organization. Organizes information and data to identify/explain trends, problems, and their causes.Teamwork & Collaboration: Contributes to common goal, maintains open communication with team members, asks for help when necessary, encourages involvementDiversity & Inclusion: Self-aware, attentive listener, people-oriented, cognizant of bias, cultural intelligence; demonstrating a respect for divergent viewpoints; an awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural diversity of the population served, thereby contributing to an environment that is equitable, inclusive, and cooperative.Flexibility: Adapts effectively to change by accepting changes in processes readily and with an optimistic perspective of the resulting benefits; readily accepts new technology as part of his/her job and uses it to continually improve efficiency or the quality of his/her work productsRequirementsMinimum of a Master's degree in a psychology/social work/human services-related disciplineMust be at least license eligibleFully licensed LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred, but not requiredMust be able to pass DBHDD background check (required prior to providing any services to clients)State-mandated training: Relias, CPR/First Aid, CPI, CANS/ANSA (must be completed within the first 30 days of hire)Knowledge of Medicaid/CMO compliance requirements preferredDemonstrable knowledge of DSM-5 diagnosis criteriaWillingness to learn new documentation and clinical skillsReceptivity to feedback/constructive criticismIndividuals who are prompt in communication, have collaborative personalities, and demonstrate a passion and knowledge for mental health and human services will be considered.Pay Rate: $35.00 - $50.00 per hourNote: $50.00 per hour applies for fully licensed therapists.*Hourly pay based on licensure level and experience in community-based settings.(Georgia - Clayton/Henry County area)Additional InformationJob Type: Part-time/ potential full-time, contractual positionHours Requirement: Expected to maintain 25 billable hours per week and manage up to 13 clientsLocation Requirement: Must reside in or have reliable transportation to provide in-person services within Clayton/Henry County, GA. Travel to client homes and community locations as required, with willingness to commute up to 1 hour for client sessions.Schedule Requirements: Must be flexible to work afterschool hours and weekends in order to accommodate the needs of the clients served. With availability to provide services during morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours.
