A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled CT/CT Tech specializing in imaging to support a busy healthcare facility in Waxhaw, NC. This evening shift position embraces a collaborative, high-volume environment, delivering critical care to diverse patient populations across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Schedule and Location: 12-hour evening shifts, primarily covering weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM) Free parking available on site Black scrub attire required Located in Waxhaw, a welcoming community known for its charming small-town atmosphere, proximity to natural parks, and convenient access to metropolitan amenities. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic CT and radiologic procedures using advanced Siemens and GE equipment Collaborate closely with nursing and transport teams to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care Adhere to department protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system for accurate documentation and communication Participate in ongoing education through a 3-5 day orientation and online courses Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech; first-time travelers are welcome Possess BLS certification and ARRT (R) for Radiologic Technology, with additional CT (ARRT CT) certifications as applicable for dual-modality roles Flexible to work a schedule that includes holiday coverage (up to 75%) and possibly call shifts depending on modality Must provide photo ID for compliance processing Additional Information: This contract role offers professional exposure in a teaching hospital designated as a Trauma Level IV center, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center. The role aligns with radius requirements, welcoming candidates whose permanent address is at least 50 miles from the work unit.
