Registered Respiratory Therapist

Hopkins Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare - Hopkins Center is hiring an Registered Respiratory Therapist! Located in Downtown Brooklyn, we are an exceptional team-oriented facility where we thrive on making our residents and staff as comfortable and happy as possible. We provide our team with everything necessary to help you succeed and grow! 8 hour shifts available, full time and part time.  Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed Monitor and evaluate patients' response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care techniques and equipment Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Qualifications: Registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), Valid license to practice as Respiratory Therapist issued by NYSED, Registered Pulmonary Function Tech certificate (RFPT) preferred Job Types: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Medical specialties: Sub abute/ Long term care License/Certification: license to practice as Respiratory Therapist issued by NYSED (Required) RRT issued by NBRC (Required)
