Pulmonology/Sleep Medicine Opportunity - Houston ...

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is searching for BC/BE Pulmonologists with an interest in Sleep Medicine to join our pulmonary practice located on the campus of Houston Methodist, The Woodlands Hospital. Responsibilities: * Provide expert clinical care to patients with a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including but not limited to lung cancer, interstitial lung diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and sleep disorders. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnosis, stage of disease, and overall health status. * Collaborate with other specialists, including thoracic surgeons, radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology nurse navigators and respiratory therapists, to provide multidisciplinary care to patients with lung cancer. * Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding their condition, treatment options, and self-management techniques. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including performance improvement projects and clinical research, to enhance patient outcomes and advance the field of pulmonary medicine. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the electronic medical record, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. * Collaborate with other members of the pulmonary team to provide seamless and coordinated care to patients. * Stay updated with the latest advancements in pulmonary medicine through ongoing professional development and education.
