Job RequirementsAssociate's degree in allied healthSuccessfully passed the Hemodynamic testEKG competency preferredOne of the following certifications required:American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)CVT / CVITCertified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)BLS/CPR certificationUnrestricted Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license (if ARRT certified)Understanding of aseptic technique3-4 years of experience in a related field (Candidates with less than 3 years of experience may be consider with role alignment. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and organizational guidelines.) (Two-year work commitment)Job OverviewUnder the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, the Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for operating highly technical, state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. This role is accountable for patient outcomes within the cardiac Cath and special procedures areas and for maintaining radiation safety practices in all procedure rooms.
