Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Reno, NV 89511 Contract Length: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension) Travel Pay: $2500/Weekly (Blended) for 3 x 12s                          $3144/Weekly (Blended) for 4 x 12s Shift: 06:00 AM – 06:30 PM (3 x 12s or 4 x 12s) Job Summary: The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care to patients as prescribed by physicians, focusing on neonatal and critical care support. The role involves evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients with cardiopulmonary conditions while utilizing advanced respiratory therapy technologies. The therapist will work across NICU and adult critical care units as required. Job Duties: Provide respiratory therapy treatments and ventilatory support to neonatal and critical care patients. Perform diagnostic evaluations including arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and cardiopulmonary assessments. Manage neonatal ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and bubble CPAP. Assist with neonatal intubation, delivery attendance, and neonatal airway management. Monitor patient response to respiratory treatments and adjust care plans as required. Float between adult critical care and neonatal critical care units when needed.   Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of Level III NICU experience (Mandatory). Experience with high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for neonates, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance. RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required. ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required. Must be willing to float between adult and neonatal critical care units. Must be able to take on-call shifts when required.
