Reports To: Director of Member Engagement Department: ExecutiveWork Location: Hybrid (WFH & DC Headquarters)Job Type: Full-Time, Salary ExemptSupervisory Responsibilities: NoThe Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns - both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members - with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.Position Summary: The Deputy Member Engagement Director will assist with DCCC interactions and operations with Candidates, Campaigns, and Members of Congress. This role supports the strategic and operational execution of the Member Engagement portfolio, with a focus on finance planning, tracking, and program support. Responsibilities include helping draft and maintain campaign finance plans, tracking incumbent and candidate progress, maintaining finance-related records in coordination with the dues and finance teams, and supporting the timely delivery of resources to incumbents and candidates. The position provides core organizational and logistical support, including maintaining Member Engagement trackers, directories, and toolkits; taking notes in Member, candidate, and internal meetings as appropriate; managing day-to-day logistics such as caucus meeting planning; and serving as the primary scheduling point of contact for external Member Engagement calls and meetings, including for engagement with outside stakeholders and matching volunteers with campaign needs. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.Responsibilities:Support the Member Engagement Director on high-priority initiatives and special projects, including volunteer support, safe-seat nominee engagement, surrogate programming, and mentorship initiativesLead and manage long-term Member Engagement programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely executionTrack Member requests, meetings, events, projects, and incumbent races; support day-to-day logistics including caucus meeting planning and preparationDraft programmatic proposals, strategic memos, and senior-level deliverables for Members, candidates, and congressional staffWork closely with Finance, Dues, and the Member Engagement Director to develop, maintain, and oversee finance plans, budgets, cash flow, and weekly incumbent fundraising numbersManage and track incumbent fundraising activity, including call time, events, digital revenue, and progress toward cash-on-hand and budget benchmarksPrepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly finance reports and advise candidates and campaign managers on fundraising strategy and donor targetingImplement, manage, and oversee internal Member Engagement department processes, workflows, scheduling, and expense trackingMaintain coordination and serve as secondary contact for Tri-Caucus and Ideological Caucus engagement and joint programmingDraft, review, compile, and oversee briefings, reports, memos, agendas, and meeting materials for leadership and key initiativesCreate and oversee PowerPoint presentations and written materials for internal leadership, Members, and external stakeholdersEnsure accurate tracking, reporting, and quality control across Member Engagement initiatives, program outcomes, trackers, databases, and resource toolkitsManage the Member Engagement calendar, databases, spreadsheets, and departmental tracking systemsAssist with staff training and congressional staff outreachPerform special projects and other duties as needed to ensure the success of the Member Engagement departmentHelp maintain Member Engagement trackers, directories, and resource toolkits Other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the Member Engagement teamRequirements Strong understanding of the House Democratic Caucus, Committees and PACs required1-2 cycles of campaign finance experience required3+ years of experience in political campaigns or working with Congress;
