Clinical Program Director

Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Program Director, you will be responsible for all social work and clinical programming for the school. You will provide support to school-wide initiatives in special education and drive change by working with staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement. In addition, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.Only ONE of the following Illinois Licenses Required: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate) through ISBEMSW with LSW through IDFPRLCSW through IDFPRLCPC through IDFPRLPC through IDFPRISBE PEL School Social Worker ResponsibilitiesAttend meetings in-person in the Chicagoland area, as neededApproximately 85% work responsibilities are virtual/remote and 15% work responsibilities are in-personLead day-to-day operational initiatives within a small special education school programSupport school-wide initiatives in special educationDrive change by working alongside staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement and support the overall learning environmentAssist in Leading the school by building high-performing teams and responsibly managing work and people while enlisting others in the school's visionEmploy data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments and behavioral approachesBuild leadership to help students succeed effectivelyDevelop positive behavioral and academic interventionsMonitor student progress and evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionalsWork remotely while logged-in during the entirety of your shiftEnsure all IEPs are entered into the district systems Review all clinical documentation in students IEP's Supervises the day-to-day operations of all clinical staff members Ensures all clinical minutes are being met Inputs related services into MSIS for all disciples Run all IEP meetings QualificationsOnly One (1) of following Licenses/Certifications is required: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), IL MSW with LSW, IL LCSW, IL LCPC, IL LPC Strong leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong consultative and data analysis abilitiesCreative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student populationBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not requiredExcellent communication skills Compensation & BenefitsIn accordance with the Pay Transparency amendment to the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003, information about pay ranges and employee benefits can be found at the following links:General Employee Benefits Overview Information refer to the "Clinical" section for this position's category.$61,000 - $70,000 a yearAbout Menta Academy BourbonnaisAt Menta Academy Bourbonnais, our team is all about helping kids be their best in three key areas:• Developing a love of learning.• Gaining the tools necessary to shine academically.• Becoming good people beyond the classroom.We've set up our classes to be lively and engaging so every student can have a shot at both learning and behaving well each day.
