RN Cath Lab

An RN - Cath Lab is a registered nurse who provides specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and other interventional cardiovascular procedures. Cath Lab Nurses perform patient assessments, prepare patients for procedures, and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions. They monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic status throughout procedures while administering medications and ensuring patient safety. RN Cath Lab nurses also provide education and support to patients and families before and after procedures, assist with recovery monitoring, and maintain detailed documentation.
