An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with cath lab expertise to join a busy cardiovascular unit. This contract position is based in Goodlettsville, TN, within a 109-bed medical center known for delivering quality patient care with advanced technology and skilled staff support. Key Responsibilities: Perform invasive cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations (LHC, R/LHC), stent placements, peripheral angiograms, LINQ device implants, explants, generator changes, and pacemaker implants Administer moderate sedation safely in compliance with protocols Utilize Philips cath lab equipment and Merge hemo systems effectively Document patient care and procedure details accurately using Meditech EMR Collaborate with unit secretaries and tech staff to maintain smooth daily operations Apply critical thinking to assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes Qualifications & Experience: Current RN license ACLS and BLS certifications required Proven cath lab experience including moderate sedation administration Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills Comfort working with advanced cardiovascular technologies and documentation systems Shift Options: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Uniforms: Navy blue scrubs (must provide your own) The cath lab unit is equipped with state-of-the-art Philips technology and has experienced, tenured staff providing excellent procedural support.
