Guided by our HOPE values-Humility, Optimism, People-Centered, and Ethical Practice-we provide manageable caseloads, flexible schedules, and compensation options that work for you-from salary to production-based models.As a Substance Use Disorder Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will see and maintain a small caseload of individual clients, co-facilitate SUD process groups, person-centered treatment plans, clinical progress notes, and utilize assessment tools in alignment with 245g MN state standards for documentation. All interns can expect to receive experience in all 12 Core Functions during their practicum experience. Internship Benefits: Shadowing opportunities in other service areas Free attendance for internal CEUs Flexible scheduling 401k Responsibilities: Co-facilitate group sessions and facilitate individual sessions for patients struggling with addiction.Create and present psycho-educational lectures in group sessions.Conduct intakes and assessments to gather patient information and guide treatment plans.Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in accordance with 245G requirements.Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings. Attend weekly supervision Requirements: Must be pursuing an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in Alcohol & Drug counseling, Co-occurring, or related (and must be eligible to pursue LADC/ADC-T licensure or LADC and LPCC/LGSW/LMFT licensure upon completion of program).Candidates are completing a formal practicum or internship through their program. Experience and ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity. Previous work or volunteer experience is preferred (common examples are Independent Living Skills, Inpatient Mental Health, Behavioral Program or Residential Experience). Compensation: Total earnings for this position will include a stipend of $4,478 stipend for 440-hour internship; additional $7,260 stipend for additional 440-hour internship.*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location.
