Interventional Radiologic Technician (Day Shift) Location: Cambridge, MA, 02138 Shift: Day Shift (8)-8:00 start Duration: 13-weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekly Pay Rate: $3,000 - $3,200; (Negotiable based on experience) Key Responsibilities: Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures including angiography, catheter placement, biopsies, and other minimally invasive procedures. Prepare and operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy units, ultrasound, and CT as needed. Ensure accurate imaging and proper positioning of patients. Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control practices during procedures. Monitor patient status throughout procedures and communicate any concerns promptly. Perform post-procedure care and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols. Handle equipment and supplies, including preparation and clean-up of procedure rooms. Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, self, and staff. Qualifications: ARRT Certification (Radiography) - Required BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License - Required Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting - Required Strong knowledge of anatomy, sterile technique, and interventional imaging protocols Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills Additional Perks: Travelers Welcome!
