The Global Incidence Prevention and Containment team manages critical workflows across the Wayfair catalog to identify high-incidence products and mitigate customer visibility issues. We focus on detecting and preventing damage as products move through our global network to ensure a seamless customer experience. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support the strategy, architecture, and execution of these workflows. Your primary focus will be building datasets that identify underperforming products, maintaining high-impact dashboards, and generating actionable insights that empower supplier-facing teams to drive performance. You will leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting and drive incremental reduction in preventable incidents. What You'll Do * Independently own core dataset(s) that identify high-incidence products and track prevention actions, flag risks early and manage communications with high-touch stakeholders. * Build and maintain datasets and dashboards, supporting incidence prevention workflows * Use AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, analysis, and insight generation. * Support Category Management and STO Leads in their efforts to control incidence rates, by expanding our prevention workflows. * Partner cross-functionally with data owners and consumers to validate data accuracy and improve reporting consistency. * Identify manual or repetitive processes and recommend automation improvements. What You'll Need * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field * 2+ years of professional experience * Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI) * Foundational skills in Python (preferred) * Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration * High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously * An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset; you must be adaptable and comfortable with change An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
