Summary: Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care. Responsible for medication administration under supervision of medical staff. Duty or Responsibility Under supervision of a nurse, provide screening for admission, medication administration, monitor medication errors, monitor pharmacy stock. PerformsUDS, COVID testing, Pregnancy testing; disposing of contaminated supplies; sanitizing medical instruments and equipment. Verify patient information by interviewing patients; performing health screenings, completing designated referral form, reviewing and recording medical observations and history; taking vital signs. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns. Includes completing shift notes in the EHR by recording patient examination/observations, vitals, treatment, response to treatment, medication education, discharge plan and test results . Maintain patient confidence and protects medical office/unit operations by keeping information confidential; cautioning others regarding potential breaches. Prepare patients for appt / rounds in person or via telemed with medical prescribers. Educates patients by providing medication and home care instructions; answering questions. All other duties as assigned by center director or other senior management.
