Our team of highly specialized physicians provides comprehensive care for children with fractures, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, scoliosis, spinal cord conditions, and spine injuries. Job Overview The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care and life support to patients with abnormalities and deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system by prescription and under the supervision of a physician. This position is per diem. Responsibilities * Obtains physician's order 100% of the time prior to initiating therapy.•Able to appropriately assess all patients before and after therapy is delivered 100% of the time. •Sets up all routine therapy modalities according to policy and procedure 100% of the time. •Able to set up and monitor all life support equipment according to policy and procedure 100% of the time. •Able to set up and perform EKG's on patients in a timely fashion. •Able to perform all POCT including controls, proficiencies and documentation. Maintain all State and Joint Commission requirements for licensing and accreditation This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. Qualifications Required: RT license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred: Associate Respiratory Therapy 3 Years Respiratory care practitioner1 Year Pediatric Critical Care Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
