Position Overview The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops, oversees, and monitors individualized behavioral intervention and skill-building programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors. This role includes staff training, data review, program revisions, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure consistent, ethical, and effective services.Core Responsibilities Clinical & DocumentationDevelop, implement, and revise Behavioral Analysis Support Plans (BASP)Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)Prepare quarterly progress reports with data and visual analysisPresent BASPs to APD Local Review Committees (LRC)Complete reactive strategy reporting and APD/HBD documentationMonitor behavioral data at least weekly and adjust programs accordinglyMaintain organized, confidential clinical recordsProvide billable behavioral services within ADT settingsAccurately document work hours to meet APD requirementsTraining & Quality AssuranceProvide competency-based BASP training to residential and ADT staffModel appropriate interactions and provide constructive feedbackConduct and document monthly fidelity reviews per APD standardsCollaboration & SupportParticipate in interdisciplinary team and psychology meetingsAttend annual support plan meetingsCommunicate respectfully with staff, families, guardians, and individuals servedSupport individuals during community-based specialist appointments when needed Schedule & Work Environment 40 hours per weekPreferred hours: 9:00 A.M - 5:00 P.MOccasional evenings or weekends based on consumer needsServices provided in group homes and ADT programs throughout Broward CountyRequirementsQualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilitiesStrong foundation in positive behavioral supportsExcellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Education & Certifications Master's degree in Psychology or a related fieldActive BCBA certification (required)CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)PCM Level II certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Completion of all APD-required training certifications upon hireAll candidates must pass a Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse) prior to employment.
