Lab Technician - ADV

Job Title: Lab Technician - ADV Location: Onsite in Charlotte, NC 28269 Duration: Feb 26 - Feb 27 Pay range: 25.00/Hr - 28.00/Hr USD Job Description: Supports laboratory functions for production and/or development teams. Responsible for set-up and calibration of test equipment, execution of test procedures, data recording and reporting, and laboratory supply management 2nd shift 2nd shift. 2:30pm to 12am;M-TH, 2:30pm – 6:30pm F; eventually will be 2:30pm to 11pm M-F Key Responsibilities: Role Purpose: • Connect and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and refrigeration systems on Charlotte manufactured equipment. • Operates, inspects and maintains test setups and equipment to detect malfunctions • Familiarity with electrical work, including 460-3-60 machinery and medium voltage industrial power supplies. • Familiarity with HVAC operation, refrigerant handling, and EPA certification is a plus • Experience with pumps, VFDs, boilers, is a plus • LO/TO controls troubleshooting and Arc Flash training is helpful • Works under moderate supervision to support engineering testing of chillers. • Familiarity with industrial tools. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Strong mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting background, and be mechanically inclined • 3+ years of experience with hand/pneumatic tools • Mechanical skills • Moving/lifting weights up to 35 lbs.
