Medical Biller

Bamboo Family Clinic is looking for a dedicated medical biller to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely filing of medical claims, denial follow up and payment posting both electronically and manually in the EMR. The location of this position is in office at 98 E. Lake Mead Pkwy, Suite 307, Henderson, NV. 89015.ResponsibilitiesPayment posting of electronic and manual payments in EMR.Ensure adherence to healthcare laws, rules and regulations.Receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility.Prepare and submit claims to various medical insurance companies electronically and manually.Managing the status of accounts and balances and identifying inconsistencies.Issuing bills, receipts and invoices to third party payors.Correspondence and appeal denials done in a timely manner with pro-active follow-up on appeals in process.Follow up on delayed and denied claims.Maintain accurate records of all claim activity.SkillsFamiliar with CPT/ICD-10 codes.Knowledge of all Nevada commercial, HMO and government insurances.Ability to handle medical records discreetly.Knowledge of medical billing/coding processesMust be able to work efficiently and independently with time management and organizational skills.Communication skills and a customer service orientationQualifications 2 years of experience as a medical billerHands on experience with accounting and administrative operationsExcellent knowledge of MS Office and EMR software Tebra experience preferred.High degree of attention to detail and trustworthinessCompensation: All benefits and paid time off are provided after your 90 probation period.The company offers Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - full Time Employees.Company Offer 401K Match PlanPaid time off - Full Time Employees.
