Overview We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with digestive system disorders. This role includes outpatient consultations, diagnostic procedures, and surgical interventions such as endoscopies and colonoscopies. Qualifications * MD or DO from an accredited institution * Board certification in Gastroenterology * Valid Georgia medical license and DEA registration * Experience in outpatient and surgical settings preferred * Commitment to serving underserved communities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Responsibilities * Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions across diverse populations * Perform procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsies * Provide pre- and post-operative care in coordination with surgical center staff * Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams for integrated care * Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management * Document all encounters and procedures in the EMR system * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review
