About the JobDENTAL HYGIENISTOur successful Oakbrook Terrace dental office is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our State-Of-The-Art practice.If you are looking for a new dental home and have experience with identifying gum disease, periodontal conditions and defining appropriate treatment plans, we would LOVE to talk to you!New RDH Graduate welcome. Must be a dog lover because our guests love our therapy dogs.What does a great Dental Hygienist do for our team?Communicate with excellent verbal and written skills.Demonstrate leadership.Work with a fun outgoing personality.Identify opportunities to discuss oral health of our patients.Relate the mouth-body connection to patients.Successfully complete a Scaling and Root Planning and/or Prophylaxis.Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants.Review and update dental x-rays and chart note.Record detailed narratives and probing depths.Maintain dental equipment and x-ray machine.Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.Ensure OSHA/HIPPA compliance.Understand Teeth Whitening, Home Sleep Studies, and Sleep Apnea.Knowledge of Arestin and Diode Laser Therapy is a plus.Knowledge of Curve Dental, Dentrix, Mango phone system is helpful.Current CPR Certification.Anesthetic certification a plus.Your benefits would include:Competitive compensation, holidays, personal time off, dental care, continuing education, therapy pups, and a fantastic team culture!Schedule:Tuesday 6:30AM - 1:15PM.Thursday 10:30AM - 7:15PM.CALL to discuss other options.Growth to Full Time possible.References are highly recommended.Apply today and become part of a top-notch dental family with state-of-the-art solutions!
